Responsibilities:
Immedium seeks a Marketing Intern who wants to make an immediate impact.
This part-time internship is ideal for someone who wants to get real world experience for a media company. Immedium is looking for an organized self-starter to manage interesting projects. Roll up your sleeves, and prioritize the best leads, and follow through by producing results.
The role will be off-site (telecommuting):
- Research and reach out to potential children's book artists, compiling contacts in an Excel database
- Create educational curriculum guides
- Design print collateral (flyers) on a variety of topics
- Prospect new retailers
- Brainstorm and implement new programs.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Google/Web search + Email
- Basic graphic design, HTML, and social media experience a plus
• Must have own computer hardware, software, and phone.
• Creative, enthusiastic, multi-tasking, and organized self-starter.
- Interested in pop culture/kids and media/entertainment.
- Understanding of product marketing and sales desired
- Recent, or near, college graduate with B.A./B.S. degree
- Commitment of 10 hours a week (part-time) is preferred
Location: Telecommuting with weekly phone calls; in-person bi-weekly meetings in San Francisco
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Publisher.

Time & Compensation
This internship is unpaid and part-time (hours are flexible) for a renewable period of six months.
Final work is owned by company but can be used in intern’s portfolio development.
