As a Research Intern at SSRS, you will support full-time staff on research projects from inception through final deliverables on our client services team. This internship is approximately 30 hours a week, starting on June 3rd, 2025 and ending the first or second week of August.

This position requires working from the Glen Mills, PA office two days per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Learn about survey research from leading practitioners in the industry.
- Gain hands-on experience through supporting the implementation of research projects, including survey and sample design, quality assurance steps, multi-mode implementation, data processing, weighting, and analytics approaches.
- Learn a range of technical skills that will be applied to current projects.
- Work with SSRS teams to develop collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in statistics, social sciences or related field, as of the summer of 2025.
- Interest in pursuing a career in social science research, or survey research and methodology; excitement about social science research.
- Ability to work in the Glen Mills, PA office two days a week, from 9 AM – 5 PM. No transportation will be provided to/from the office.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word and Excel). Some knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software (R, STATA, SAS) are preferred.
- Candidates should be detail-oriented and highly-organized.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment requiring time management.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
